Service Coordinator (Lomita, CA)

We currently have an open position for a SERVICE COORDINATOR at our LOMITA KIWANIS GARDENS located in LOMITA, CA.
JOB DUTIES:
- Identify residents in need of services, coordinate delivery of services.
- Serves as advocate/liaison with management, other departments of the housing facility and outside agencies who provide social, health benefits, training and other services for seniors to Age In Place.
- Provide information and referral; provide crisis intervention, conflict resolution.
- Monitor resident referral with agencies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports, other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, gerontology, sociology preferred.
- Candidates with appropriate work experience will be considered.
- Experience working with diverse group of seniors and disabled a plus.
- Bilingual: English/Korean a must
This is a Part-Time position.
All employment is contingent upon passing a drug test and background check.
